Creative Storyteller category requirements

Hi I am participating in the Creative Storyteller category. I have 2 questions:

1) This challenge is called "Gemini Live Agent Challenge". Despite the name, the criteria for Creative Storyteller is:
- Must use Gemini's interleaved/mixed output capabilities.
- The agents are hosted on Google Cloud.
No mention of mandatory use of Gemini Live API. Hence, can I check that for this Storyteller category, it is not compulsory to use Gemini Live API, unlike the Live Agent category?

2) Would like to also clarify, what is meant by "Must use Gemini's interleaved/mixed output capabilities." Does it means we must make the image generation models output image and text at the same time? We're not allowed to generate image using one model, and the accompanying narrative text using a separate model?

I'm asking because in my case, I have functionalities where multiple images share a single text sentence, unlike interleaved output where its 1 image, 1 text output.

Hi there. The official rules state: All projects MUST:
    1. Leverage a Gemini model
    2. Agents must be built using either Google GenAI SDK OR ADK (Agent Development Kit)
    3. Use at least one Google Cloud service"

For the second question - I will check with the Google team but I don't see any reason you cannot do both. Good luck!

Thanks Shawni. Just to add on to my second question, the "/" in "Gemini's interleaved/mixed output capabilities" seems to suggest I must use either one of the following, or both:
    1) Interleaved capabilities (mixing image + video + text) as input, or
    2) Mixed Output capabilities (outputting 1 image + 1 text string) at the same time.

I'm definitely doing Interleaved Inputs (mixing video + image + text inputs at once). Hence, if I have already fulfilled Interleaved Inputs, but not Mixed Output capabilities, does it count as having fulfilled the criteria already?
